Basic Stick Fighting

This course is for people who are interested in expanding their martial arts skills. You will learn all the basics to help you get started. You can use these skills to enhance your own martial arts lessons, or just to expand your knowledge in martial arts.

This course is for all entry levels, So it doesn't matter if you are an expert athlete or have 0 experiance in sports.

Are there any course requirements or prerequisites?

You don't need any eskrima skills, the only thing you need is a kali stick (or another stick)
All exersises can be practiced alone
You need a bit of space so you wont destroy your room.

This is such a great course. It has helped me with flexibility and getting my blood moving. While the topic is important and serious, the instructor is hilarious and fun, making the topic easy to approach. I recommend this course. Two suggestions: 1. Reduce the sound of the intro (with the logo) by 50 to 90%. The sound doesn't add anything to the course, and always seems to surprise me 2. Increase the nice slow demonstrations, even if that reduces the time for the really fast demonstrations. I like that each video is so short, and as a beginner the really fast demonstrations at the end of each video are of limited value. That being said, this is a great course. Each video is short, but I realize I could spend the rest of my life practicing each. I'm hoping the instructor comes out with more courses: maybe one could be with two sticks, and another course could be using every day objects (pens, umbrellas). Something to consider. Great job on this course.
